The main tasks of the Center are to organize the "Shanghai International Technology Import and Export Fair" ("Shanghai Fair" for short) and to build the "China International Technology Trading Platform".
　　"Shanghai Fair" is a comprehensive technology trade show sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, which will invite relevant international organizations and renowned enterprises, and take 3 to 5 years to build the largest, highest quality and most influential comprehensive exhibition in the field of domestic technology trade.
　　"China International Technology Trading Platform" will provide matchmaking opportunities for Chinese enterprises to introduce foreign advanced technology and export technology, and improve the success rate of transactions.
